Hi, I am Nekko, the owner and founder of Bakes of Grace. I am a Christian business owner and I am a single mom to one son. I started making cakes in 2020. My inspiration came from one of my favorite Youtube channels: How To Cake It, I was obsessed with Yolanda Gamp’s cake videos. I also got my first cake decorating book by Amirah Kassem: The Power Of Sprinkles, in 2020, which inspired me to finally start cake decorating!

I went on Amazon and purchased my first set of cake decorating tools and equipment which included a turn table, some piping tips with bags, and some side scrapers. And from then I started baking and decorating cakes ever since. I finally decided to develop Bakes Of Grace after I became a single mom and struggled to make income. I got my licensing in October of 2023. I actively sell cakes from home and have started this blog as a way to expand this business and provide more value to my audience online.
