“Oh Baby” Bear Themed Baby Shower Cake & Cupcakes!
Hi, Welcome back to “The Bakes of Grace Blog”! Today I am sharing with you one of my most beautiful cakes and cupcakes. This adorable bear themed cake was flavored with vanilla cake, fresh strawberries and vanilla frosting. I ordered some baby bear figurines on Amazon which came with 3 little bears and some gold cake decor balls. I also included an “Oh Baby” cake topper that I got form Hobby Lobby along with a variety of gold sprinkles and gold leaf.
Although the frosting looks chocolatey, it is dyed a dark brown using the brown dye from “Chef Master”. I also used the color “Ivory” from Wilton. I was really nervous about using the ivory color because it can look orange while dying the frosting but I think it came out perfect.
The setup was in collaboration with “Floatin Balloon Bash” local in Reno & Sparks. This business specializes in balloon concepts and event planning! The setup was absolutely beautiful.
I also included some delicious cupcakes. The cupcakes were vanilla cake with vanilla frosting and little chocolate bears. I used a little bear mold from Hobby Lobby to create the chocolate bears. These were so delicious!
